To the best of my very limited wave riding knowledge I would say it has the potential of having some of the most ideal wave handling features in the world, thanks to its more open delta shape, and powerful snappy handling. Focussing on bar feedback, the kite is finely tuned for immediate input response, with minimal delay in the kites reactions. Depower is very impressive, even when the kite is lit, or moving across the wind window, again a trait that all wave riders will welcome in the surf.

Build quality is no exception and Slingshot have complemented the Rally with the Slingshot Comp Stick bar, 800lb front lines, “centre of the universe swivel” and the Comp Stick Push away quick release system.
